Splosh privacy policy
Last updated: 9 October 2026
Splosh is a paint-mixing book for young children. It is built so that it collects nothing.
- No data is collected. Splosh does not collect, upload, share or sell any personal information, from children or from anyone else.
- No internet. The app contains no networking code. It never connects to the internet, so nothing you do in it leaves the device.
- No ads, analytics, tracking, accounts or in-app purchases. No third-party code (SDKs) is included.
- No camera, microphone, location, contacts or photos. The app does not ask for any of these. It reads the phone's motion sensor only to notice tilting and shaking while it is open; those readings are used right away and never stored.
- What stays on the device: the list of colors made on the free-play page and the grown-up settings (sound, outlines), kept in the app's own storage on the phone. Deleting the app deletes them; "Reset made colors" on the Grown-ups screen clears the colors.
- Grown-ups area: settings sit behind a multiplication question so young children don't change them by accident.
Splosh follows the App Store Kids Category rules and, by collecting no personal data at all, is designed to comply with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the GDPR.
